Product Overview

The main purpose of this Time Delay 6 (TD6) board with P5B Pulser is to transmit RF waveform, receive the echo from the RF Amplifier PCB and form the summed phased array lens. The output of the TD6 boards is a complex (I & Q) beam sum data stream. The main components on the board are EEPROM, SRAM memory, Diodes, resistors, capacitors, IC's, transceivers, ferrite beads, inductors, connectors, Programmable Logic Devices (PLDs) and regulators. The TD6 boards reside in the front end. The analog, digital and power interfaces to the TD6 board are through the backplane PCB (Printed circuit board). The TD6 board has additional P5B Pulser which was not present in the earlier versions. The circuit board is made up of FR-4 Glass fiber, which is a composite material that consists of glass fabric, and electrical grade epoxy resin. The material is strong and stiff, has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and outstanding electrical properties. This Board can be used with GE's Logic V9 systems.
