Product Overview

The HFA-S Assembly with Spacer to Prevent Cable SWAP is used in G3 GEMSPRO ACGD CAB ASM, ACGD CABINET ASSEMBLY W/SGA/SGAPS/GP which comes under the modality of MRI. The HFA-S (Switching Gradient Amplifier Hybrid) is an IGBT-based switching voltage amplifier that is utilized in the HFD-S subsystem, which has performance capabilities of 1400V and 320A. Three separate identical amplifiers (one for each axis) reside in an HFD-S subsystem and are powered by an ACGD-PS. The purpose of these amplifiers is to provide the voltage and current to the gradient coil during scanning. The inputs to the amplifier are voltage and current commands from the Gradient Processors (GP3) board. The amplifier has two floating outputs that are wired in series to provide the total gradient drive voltage. Also, internal to the amplifier is the current sensor, which provides a current feedback Signal to the GP3. The HFA-S is composed of: 2-IGBT Inverters and Choppers (Bus Bar boards), Output Filters, HFA Control board, Gate Driver board, Voltage Sense board, Back-Plane board, Current Sensor and Associated Cabling/Packaging. The GE product is an innovation and fit well into versatile customer needs. The part is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability. It is securely packed inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
