Product Overview
The Wheel Cap for VE9 Casters is used on the wheels for the VE9 device among others. A digital 2D cardiovascular ultrasound imaging system has four casters (wheels) - two front casters and two rear casters. The front casters can be locked in fixed directions. The rear casters have brakes that are operated individually for each caster. A wheel cap is provided for each of the caster wheels. All the casters are mounted on swivels so that their direction can be changed as needed. The caps are fastened over the casters by means of screws. The cap acts as a protective cover over the casters. The casters have brakes, a pedal mechanism and locking mechanisms which are extremely sensitive and fragile. Hence the cap made of ABS material takes in any impacts generated during the functioning of ultrasound system. It is strong and hard enough to take any external blow or vibration such that the casters are safe and free from damage and noise. The casters can be removed only after the cap is removed while the power is shut from the system and it is fastened to casters so that free movement of caster wheels is not hindered.
