Product Overview

The Global PC for USA is one of the computer types of iDXA computers. It has the Windows 7 operating system. It is used in an iDXA series X-ray generator. The iDXA series X-ray equipment consists of collimator, detector, X-ray tube head and circuit boards. The iDXA series X-ray equipment is used to estimate of bone mineral density at various anatomical sites, like spine, femur, total body, and forearm. It is used to assess the relative fracture risk based on the patient's T-score value using the categories of fracture risk defined by the World Health Organization (WHO). The X-ray, bone densitometer is made up of a scan arm, X-ray source assembly and exam table. The Lunar iDXA uses the fan beam technology with a 64-channel solid-state detector. The scanner is designed for optimal image quality and the scanner table can withstand a patient’s weight up to 204 kg. The X-ray source assembly and other electronics are housed inside the scanner table. The control panel is located on the scanner arm.
